Oklahoma Media Center's idea was to produce a 2D animation in the style of Schoolhouse Rock, blending educational content with a fun and trustworthy visual approach. The visual were designed to match each line of the song, written and performed by Mike Hosty creating dynamic scenes that resonate with the song's spirit. The animation spans from the days of Benjamin Franklin and the first printing press to the modern importance of a free press, emphasizing its role in informing the public without the influence of big media agendas. The final animation was produced in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats, with careful planning to protect key content across both versions, ensuring cost efficiency and broad adaptability.
